2015 General Info Value Added Tax (VAT)
The required 20% British VAT Tax will be added to your total registration amount.

Value Added Tax, or VAT, is a tax charged on most business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions in the UK.  Therefore entities (e.g. companies, charities, educational bodies) and individuals may have to pay VAT on purchases of goods and services from a UK supplier. The CYTO registration fee is a service provided by a UK VAT registered supplier and VAT at the standard rate of 20% will be charged to all attendees as the service is being provided in the UK. However some attendees may be able to make a reclaim direct from the UK tax authorities, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (‘HMRC’) provided certain conditions have been met.  A VAT refund on these services purchased in the UK is not available for private individuals and non-business entities.  Reclaims of VAT on this service may only be available to entities that incur the expense in the course of their business.
