Full congress registration includes admission to all CYTO sessions such as workshops, parallels, plenaries, frontiers, state of the arts, Hooke Lecture, Roger Tsien Keynote Lecture, CYTO Innovation, scientific tutorials, commercial exhibits, poster sessions, commercial tutorials, opening reception, ice cream social, and the closing reception.
FREE Prague Public Transportation
Prague's public transportation system has been rated as fifth in the world in the Sustainable Cities Mobility Index 2017 (compiled by Arcadis). The swift and efficient metro is in operation from 500-0000, and there are special night tram and bus services. Prague's Congress Center is located next to the Vysehrad metro station and is two stops (4 minutes) from the historic city center. It is 40 minutes by public transport from the airport. A ticket to use the public transport system for free will be distributed to all registered attendees onsite at the Congress Centre. More information will be provided before the Congress. The closing reception will be held at National House of Vinohrady. For more information about the venue, click here. The entrance to the subway is directly in front of the building. From the Prague Congress Centre (red C line of the subway ), National House of Vinohrady is one subway stop and a few minutes walk and only one stop by tram.

The non-member registration fee provides you with membership in ISAC for 2018, including an electronic subscription to Cytometry Part A. Student and SRL staff non-member registration provides student/SRL staff membership in ISAC without an electronic subscription to Cytometry Part A. ISAC membership is open to all persons who share the stated purposes of the society and who have educational, research or practical experience in some aspect of cytometry. For more information about ISAC membership, visit the ISAC website at www.isac-net.org.
Postdoctoral fellows, hospital residents, and interns do not qualify as students and must pay the full member or non-member rate. Students must have a department head or research advisor certify student eligibility. Students registering prior to the CYTO 2018 Conference must provide the name and e-mail address of their department head on the registration form. Students registering onsite must bring their student ID card or a letter signed by their department head.
Shared Resource Lab Junior Staff (SRL) Registration
Junior staff in Shared Resource Labs (SRL) without management responsibilities and with five or fewer years of SRL staff experience are eligible for CYTO SRL Junior staff reduced registration fees. SRL Junior Staff may register at the reduced rate only three times over the course of his/her career.
Junior staff with 3-5 years of experience will not qualify for the ISAC SRL Junior Staff membership but will qualify for the SRL Junior Staff CYTO registration if they have not used that registration 3 times before. One-Day Registration is available for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The One-Day Registration with Membership includes a one year membership in ISAC for 2018 with an electronic subscription to Cytometry Part A.
Registered attendees of CYTO 2018 may sign up a spouse/guest as a Companion for the fee listed above. Companion registration allows entrance to the opening reception, social and the closing reception only. Companion registrants are not permitted in the session rooms or the exhibit hall at any other time.
ISAC Code of Conduct at Meetings and Other Society Activities
ISAC expects members and meeting attendees to behave in a courteous, collegial, and respectful fashion to each other, volunteers, ISAC staff, vendors, and meeting facility staff. Attendees should abide by common-sense rules governing professional and personal interactions, and public behavior (including behavior in public electronic communications), and should show common courtesy to others, and respect for private property, including respect for the intellectual property of presenters. Demeaning, abusive, harassing, or threatening behavior towards other attendees or towards volunteers, ISAC staff, meeting management group, convention center staff, or security will not be tolerated, either in personal or electronic interactions. Scientific misconduct will not be tolerated at meetings or other society activities. Scientific misconduct is defined as an action that willfully compromises the integrity of scientific research, and includes plagiarism and the falsification or fabrication of data. Suspected cases of scientific misconduct should be referred to the Chair of the ISAC Ethics Committee for action.
ISAC Sexual Harassment Policy
It is the policy of the society that all members are responsible for ensuring that the ISAC community is free from sexual harassment in all communications and during the annual conference. The society strongly disapproves of inappropriate sexual behavior either at the annual conference or during any in-person or virtual society functions and communications. All members and event attendees should avoid actions or conduct which could be viewed as sexual harassment. Sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexually harassing nature, when: (1) submission to the harassment is made, either explicitly or implicitly, a term or condition of a society community professional relationship; (2) submission to or rejection of the harassment is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting the individual; or (3) the harassment has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s professional standing or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment. Acts of harassment will not be tolerated in relation to any society activity, including, but not limited to, the giving of awards and grants, fundraising, acceptance of abstracts, and handling of manuscripts.
Notification of cancellation must be submitted to the CYTO Management Office in writing prior to March 21, 2018. Cancellations received by March 21, 2018 will be subject to a $100 non-refundable processing fee. No refunds will be issued after March 21, 2018.
