Non-Canadian participants attending CYTO 2019 will need a passport and appropriate documents to attend the Congress. Participants are encouraged to confirm their own country’s passport validity requirements. To confirm your necessary documents and other related information, click here.
All non-Canadian attendees, including family members, guests, and exhibitors, should carry a copy of the Canadian Border Services Agency letter that recognizes CYTO 2019 in order to facilitate crossing the border into Canada. Click here to download a copy of the letter.

Any non-Canadian or non-U.S. citizen MUST
have a visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) when transiting through or traveling in Canada. Citizens of the U.S. and Canada are exempted from the eTA program.
U.S. citizens who are members of the Nexus program may use their membership card for citizenship purposes when arriving by air, land, or sea.
U.S. citizens who are members of the FAST program may use their membership card for proof of identity only when arriving by land or sea.
Permanent residents of the U.S. who are members of FAST or Nexus must travel with a passport and proof of permanent residence. Additionally, permanent residents of the U.S. who are members of NEXUS will need an eTA when flying to or transiting through Canada.
