VISAS

As a U.S. citizen, you may enter Germany for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. Your entry into Germany begins the 90 day limit for the entire Schengen area. For further details about travel into and within Schengen countries, please see the Schengen fact sheet. Contact the German Embassy in your area for up to date visa information.

Most destinations, including Germany, require that you have a valid passport and adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. It is recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel.

Visa requirements may vary depending on your country of origin, please be sure to check the German Embassy in your area regarding visas and required travel documents well in advance of the meeting.

Registration refunds will not be issued after May 23, 2012 for denied visas.
