WELCOME TO CYTO 2012 CYTO Featured Program Tracks: CYTO-Innovation at CYTO 2012 ISAC and biosaxony are pleased to offer the inaugural CYTO-Innovation entrepreneurial technology partnering event prior to the start of CYTO. For decades the cytometry community has benefited greatly from the participation and support from small and large companies that deliver instrumentation, software, and reagents for the cytometry and cell analysis communities. CYTO-Innovation provides a venue for discussing industry opportunities and trends, as well as for showcasing the latest technological innovation for the cytometry industry. To register for the event please email Franziska Nehl at nehl@biosaxony.com. If you are interested in presenting please contact Todd Philbrick at toddp@isac-net.org. Registration for CYTO-Innovation Registration is open to those working in technology development, assessment, and commercialization. Interested parties should send name and contact information, along with a brief description of your professional activities to: CYTO-Innovation2012@isac-net.org. Application for CYTO-Innovation Technology Showcase Presentation CYTO-Innovation seeks to highlight entrepreneurs and early stage technology companies via short (2 slides, 3 minutes maximum) presentations. Interested parties should send the name and contact information of the prospective presenter and a one paragraph description that describes the unmet market need being addressed and the innovation and impact of the technology under development to: Todd Philbrick (toddp@isac-net.org) or Franziska Nehl (nehl@biosaxony.com) by May 21, 2012. | Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the ISAC Council and the CYTO Organizing and Program Committees, it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in CYTO 2012: ISAC’s XXVII Congress. CYTO supports the Society’s mission to advance the development of cytometry technologies and biological applications by presenting a variety of scientific and educational activities to serve the increasing demands of our expanding community.
The first two CYTO conferences in Seattle and Baltimore were well received, both scientifically and commercially. We are excited to bring CYTO to Leipzig, an historical crossroad of Europe, for the first ISAC Congress in Europe since Budapest in 2008. The unique scientific and commercial strengths of Leipzig and the State of Saxony will make an interesting backdrop for an excellent program.
We look forward to seeing you in Leipzig. John Nolan ISAC President-Elect and CYTO 2012 Chair
